Como todos sabem, não é nada saudável respirar os fumos produzidos pela solda especialmente as que contêm chumbo na sua composição. A ideia aqui apresentada é improvisar um simples extractor de fumos.
As everyone knows, it's not healthy to breathe the soldering fumes specially if there's lead in it. The idea posted here is to improvise a simple smoke extractor.
Os componentes que usei foram:
The components i used were:
- Uma ventoinha de 12V usada nas caixas de computadores
- A 12V fan used in every computer case
- Um filtro ( serve um bocado de filtro de exaustor, por exemplo )
- A filter ( a kitchen extractor filter will do the trick )
- Uma bateria ou fonte de alimentação de 12V
- A 12V battery or any 12V power supply
- Um suporte
- A soldering holder
Em alternativa á fonte de alimentação ou bateria de 12V, pode ser utilizado outro tipo de alimentação desde que seja regulada posteriormente para a mesma voltagem da ventoinha.
Duas pilhas de 9V em série ou um transformador de parede com saida até 30V pode ser utilizado com o esquema seguinte:
Other type of power source can be used instead of a 12V battery or power supply as long as it is regulated for the same voltage as the fan. Two 9V batteries in series or any wall charger up to 30V can be used with the following schematic:
O filtro é seguro com um elástico á volta da ventoinha e esticado para as láminas da ventoinha não rasparem nele.
Uma vez que a ventoinha tem 4 furações estas podem ser usadas para fixar o nosso extractor no suporte.
O suporte que usei aqui foi um igual ao que costumo usar com 2 garras para segurar as placas durante as soldaduras.
The filter is held with a rubber band arround the fan and stretched so that the fan's blades dont reach the filter's surface.
The fan has 4 mounting holes and these can be used for our soldering holder to grab on. Any other material or tool can be used to hold our fan.
Com a ventoinha a trabalhar, todo o fumo é desviado para ela e após algumas horas de trabalho nota-se que o filtro começa a ficar escuro.
Penso que com um pouco mais de criatividade e tempo pode-se conseguir um acabamento melhor.
Como exemplo, pode usar-se uma caixa recortada com a ventoinha instalada dentro, pode usar-se um suporte flexível, um interruptor para ligar/desligar, etc.
With the fan working, all the smoke is going to our extractor and after some hours of work you can notice the filter getting dark.
I believe that with a bit more creativity and time it's possible to get a better looking extractor.
For example, a box can be used with a hole with a size of the fan and with all the components inside, a more flexible holder can be used, an On/Off switch can be added, etc.
