O gadget de hoje não é nenhuma montagem electrónica, mas é sem duvida um gadget para ajudar nas montagens electrónicas.
Não será correcto chamar-lhe microscópio mas sim um monóculo de aumento que permite verificar, por exemplo, as soldaduras com grande ampliação.

Procurei na ebay por algo útil e barato e encontrei este monóculo a um preço bastante acessivel.
I have this gadget for some time now. Back then, I thought about a solution to check the solder quality of the projects I was building, thought hole or smd types.
I’ve searched on ebay for something usefull and found this cheap monocle.
No entanto, a qualidade era muito má pois a lente era de plastico e a imagem era distorcida.
Foi então que peguei neste conceito e tentei fazer a minha versão.
Como tinha uma maquina de filmar avariada, decidi abrir e desmontar a objectiva.
However the quality is terrible because the lenses are made of plastic and the image gets distorted.
So, keeping the concept in mind I designed my own version.
At that time I had a video camera that was not working, so I decided to open it up and disassemble the objective.
Depois de retirar os motores de zoom e focus, desmontei a caixa de lentes e guardei uma metade da caixa de lentes.
Esta metade tem uma lente de vidro e a própria caixa tem quase o formato do monóculo que se vende na ebay.
After removing the zoom and focus motors, i opened the lenses box and toked half of it.
This half has a glass lens and the half box has the same shape of the monocle that was being sold on ebay.
Este, ao contrário do da ebay, tem uma imagem impecavelmente nítida e ao mesmo tempo consegue-se uma melhor ampliação também.

Do monoculo da ebay, retirei a pequeníssima lanterna de led e adaptei á minha solução. Moldei um pouco de Polymorph e "soldei" a lanterna ao meu monóculo.
From ebay’s monocle i removed the small led lamp and adopted it to my solution. I molded some polymorph and “glued” with it the led lamp.
O resultado foi tão bom que tenho-o sempre á mão na minha bancada e uso-o a toda a hora.
The result was so good that i havei t always on my desk and use it every time.
