Decidi fazer algumas alterações ao meu testador de servos tanto em hardware como software.
Consegui optimizar o layout da placa e diminuir o tamanho total.
Quanto ao programa, re-escrevi o firmware do micro-controlador e esta nova versão conta, além de movimentos mais certos, conta também com um modo de setup.
I've decided to make some changes in my servo tester changing it's hardware and software.
I was able to optimize the pcb layout and reduce it's size.
About the firmware, i re-wrote it and gave the micro-controller a new version with better moviments and with a setup mode.
O modo de setup funciona da seguinte maneira:
Ao ligar a pilha de 9V, se o botão central estiver premido entra no modo de setup.
Com os botões da direita e esquerda escolhemos os pontos maximo e mínimo ( endpoints ) e o ponto central.
O micro-controlador irá gravar estas posições na memória e depois de reiniciado o testador apenas movimentará o servo no curso definido, tanto em modo manual como em modo automático.
The setup mode works like this:
Pressing the center button while plugging the 9V battery the tester will enter in setup mode.
With the left and right buttons we choose the total travel ( endpoints ) and the center point.
The micro-controller will save these settings into memory and after reseting the power the tester will move the servo only inside the limits defined in both manual and automatic modes.
Durante o funcionamento normal, os botões laterais movimentam o servo para a direita ou para a esquerda. o botão central serve para colocar o servo na posição central.
Para colocar em automático basta premir o botão central até o led acender e ficar fixo e o testador irá movimentar o servo.
Caso queira voltar a colocar os limites ao máximo basta premir os botões laterais enquanto se liga a pilha e o micro-controlador irá gravar os limites com os valor máximos.
During normal mode the left and right buttons will make the servo rotate left or right and the center button will make the servo go to it's center position.
To enter the automatic mode just press the center button until the led gets solid and the tester will enter automatic mode.
In case one wants to go back to the full travel testing, just need to press both left and right buttons while pluggin the 9V battery and the micro-controller will recover the full travel values and save them in it's memory.
